Chart notes
MIAMI CROCKETT was away alertly then settled off the leaders early, checked nearing the seven-sixteenths pole, moved five-wide through the turn, responded to steady urging and was up in the closing yards to be going away late. SHORT RIB showed no early speed, saved ground through the turn, angled out nearing the quarter, could not gain on the winner late but finished good late energy. ACE AND KINGS disputed the pace while racing four-wide and gave way through the final sixteenth. NEVADAN vied for the lead while racing five-wide and gave way in the drive. DUSALUT broke sharply to dispute the pace from the inside and weakened through the final furlong. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
