Chart notes
JUDGE HEAD had good position early, angled out, four wide in the stretch, had a late burst and drew off under firm handling.. KID RUSSELL dueled, on the lead throughout, was ourfinished late but held place. CHISELED JUSTICE dueled on the lead until late stretch and weakened slightly. OFTEN ENOUGH was unhurried early, rallied in the stretch and improved late. REANIMATE raced five wide and was no menace. MURRY SPUR allowed to settle, failed to menace. NAMBITI raced mid pack and was no threat. TIGER TRAIL was no factor. THE MAN CAN was hustled along to make the lead from the rail and tired in the stretch.
