Chart notes
J. P. RACE raced between horses early, angled out three wide on the far turn, quickly drew off under mild urging to win as much the best. TONKAWA SPRINGS dueled on the lead until the top of the stretch, was no match for the winner late but was second best. SUPER BROTHER vied for the lead from the inside and gradually weakened. FORT LOWELL tracked four wide and lacked a late response. FLOCKED never far back, saved ground and had no rally. KILLER BEE was unhurried early, and was no threat. DAWN WEST raced wide early and was outrun.
