Chart notes
DIXIE PENNY stalked the leaders two to three wide, rallied between the leaders into the lane and went clear under steady handling. GOODNIGHTSUGAR contested the pace three and four wide outside QUEENS GIFT throughout then could not handle the winner in the lane while just holding the place. QUEENS GIFT contested the pace inside GOODNIGHTSUGAR while out from the rail then was outfinished by that rival for the place. AFLEET OKIE stalked the pace inside and lacked a final closing bid. MAGIC IN A HAT was three and four wide towards the back of the field, swung widest into the lane but could not threaten. YANKEE PRIDE weakened four to five wide. JAGGED ARROW lunged at the break, followed the early pace three wide and tired.
