Chart notes
MASTER THIS rounded the first turn in the three and four paths, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, eased to the six path on the far turn and took the lead leaving the eighth pole and drew off under steady handling. STRONG HEART raced off the rail on the first turn then eased out into the backstretch, bid approaching the three eighths pole, angled to the five path on the far turn and settled for second best. GANDHI'S ORION stalked from the seven eighths pole, closed to the front toward the three eighths, came under pressure at the five sixteenths pole, was met leaving the far turn and flattened in the lane. PLAYBOY ROY raced off the pace in the three and four paths, started a bid past the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path but showed little in the lane. AMERICAN ROCKY raced well back from early contention in the four and five paths, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole and improved at the rail on the far turn. SIMILAR TASTE settled off the pace inside, gave chase into the backstretch but showed little response. FARTLEK rounded the first turn in the four and five paths, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but weakened at the rail on the far turn. GORUN was not a factor. DAKOTA BOY took over approaching the seven eighths pole and rated the pace, came under pressure past the half mile pole, was met toward the three eighths and faded approaching the far turn.
