COLORS raced in the three path around the first turn, stalked the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the three path, drifted out and bumped with POSEIDONS MYTH in upper stretch and dueled from there to narrowly miss. POSEIDONS MYTH tracked the pace setters on the outside through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn from the four path, was bumped and in tight quarters in upper stretch and chased on from there. LEOPARDI raced in the three path early, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and improved position in the stretch. TAPINTOYOURBEER raced in the two path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch off the pace between horses, navigated the far bend from the four path and gained ground mildly late. CALZONE raced off the pace on the outside around the first turn and up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the far bend, was blocked and forced to steady in upper stretch when COLORS drifted into his lane and kept on the finish from there. MAJOR DEAL was pinched back leaving the gate, trailed the field while saving ground through the opening half mile, came around the far turn in the three path and passed tiring horses in the lane. DORSODURO raced in the four path around the first turn, led the way on the outside up the backstretch, saved ground around the second bend and tired in the stretch. J T'S MY BOY raced off the pace on the inside around the first turn and up the backstretch, dropped back from the two path coming around the far bend and was empty in the lane. HOLY MEISTER saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn and faded in the stretch. THE RIDER OF HORSE TEN, CALZONE, FILED AN OBJECTION AGAINST HORSE SEVEN,POSEIDONS MYTH, CITING INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THAT INCIDENT AS WELL. UPON REVIEW, HORSE FOUR, COLORS, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SIXTH FOR INTERFERENCE WITH HORSE TEN, CALZONE, NEAR THE THREE SIXTEENTH POLE. THE RIDERS OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED.
