SMARTY PANTS SANDY set the pace off the inside, came over crowding rival at the sixteenth pole then remained ahead. FRIEDER FANATIC advanced outside on the turn, was taken up inside rival at the sixteenth pole, moved out and closed. POPTHECHAMPAGNE RO outrun early inside, angled out in stretch and rallied. MISBEHAVING LADY trailed for half a mile, moved wide into the stretch rallying. ROSE LEGACY steadied inside rival at the eighth pole and angled out and closed. INSPECTOR RELOAD chased four wide down the backstretch and faltered. DIVINE TWIST prompted the pace between foes briefly then gave way. Following a stewards inquiry and an objection by the second finisher against the winner for interference in the stretch, SMARTY PANTS SANDY was disqualified and placed second. An objection by the rider of ROSE LEGACY against the rider of FRIEDER FANATIC for interference in the stretch was dismissed.
