Chart notes
ASTRONOMICAL raced four-wide through the first turn, dueled for the lead while racing four-wide, opened a clear margin into the lane and drew off with complete authority. WESTPHAL was reserved just off the leaders early, saved ground through the second turn, could not reach the winner in the drive but finished well to gain the place. EAST RAND raced four-wide through the first turn, lacked early foot, raced five-wide through the second turn and finished with good late energy. GRAVES MILL ROAD was void of early speed, raced three-wide through the second turn and finished evenly late. STEAL HOME disputed the pace from between foes for three-quarters and gave way. NEW EAGLE settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the second turn and failed to rally. UNBROKEN STAR showed no early speed, raced six-wide through the second turn and did not offer a bid. TAP THE BRAKES vied for the lead from the inside for five furlongs and weakened.
