SEEHOSS pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, pulled away down the home stretch and was ridden out. PUTTHEHAMMERDOWN lacked early speed, moved up, racing four wide around the final turn, made a wide gain, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. PRESUMPTIVE CLOSER went to the front, drove clear,. saved ground around the final turn and proved no match for the top two. COASTAL CHAOS raced evenly near the back, made a bid and hung. ELIJAH'S MOVE raced within contention, faded and was no threat late. C. F. CONGRESS pressed the pace, had an outside trip and faded. CAT FIVE raced in the back of the pack, came around the final turn wide and showed little.
