RUSH CENTER prompted outside of the pace setter and from the three path, came under a drive to sustain vying position entering the far turn, forged an advantage entering the lane, but lugged in and across his inner rival's path soon after, wandered outwardly while failing to kick away in midstretch, shifted back in as his inner counterpart offered a re-bid at the sixteenth pole, brushed that foe in the closing stages, and inched ahead late. APOLLO RISING set the pace inside of a pair of vying rivals while a path off of the rail early on, dueled inside of just RUSH CENTER around the far turn, got headed by that one entering the lane, shied slightly while getting brushed and floated inwardly by his outer counterpart soon after, sustained stride to fight on through midstretch as the leader drifted about, produced a re-bid entering the final sixteenth, took contact from that one in the closing stages, and was turned away late. MAGNIFICUS took a bump from an outer rival at the start, stalked along the inside, chased from behind the leading pair from the two to three paths around the far turn, narrowly forged show from an outer chaser in upper stretch, and fended off that foe thereafter while slowing cutting the gap on the embattled leaders. PRESIDER got floated into an inner rival by an outer foe at the start, tracked in the three path, stalked outside of the top two approaching the far turn, chased them under coaxing around that bend, vied for show with an inner rival through the lane, but got outfinished. PATROLMAN laid off of the pace in the three path, took closer order in the five path approaching the far turn, but failed to sustain progress while urged in the four to five paths around that bend, and lacked a bid. BARRELHOUSE trailed in the two path, then improved in the four path around the far turn, and made little impact. LAZARUS got rank between horses entering the first turn before settling into midpack from the four path, came under coaxing among rivals with nine sixteenths to go, but tired around the far turn. MY SPIRIT laid off of the pace in the two path, but pulled behind rivals causing the rider to hit the breaks and steady around the first turn, and tired with three furlongs to go. BOCO bobbled slightly leaving the gates, pressed outside of the top pair and from the four path, failed to keep pace with them at the five furlong pole, weakened a furlong later, and was eased through the lane. THE RIDER OF APOLLOS RISING CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF RUSH CENTER FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. FOLLOWING THE OBJECTION, AS WELL AS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, RUSH CENTER WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SECOND.
