Chart notes
SPECIAL BREED vied for the lead from three wide around the turn then angled out at the sixteenth pole and made a late surge to just be up for the win. MR. WIMBLEDON BAY stalked the pace from four wide on the backstretch then made a three wide bid at the quarter pole to engage the leader and dueled down the stretch then cleared late but was nailed in the final jump. TEXAS TURBINE dueled for the lead from the inside then took the lead at the three eighths pole but was headed at the top of the stretch and dueled down the stretch and gave way grudgingly. CHEATIN CHARLIE raced near the back to the through the turn then moved out to five wide in upper stretch and was gaining on the leaders then had to steady slightly at the sixteenth pole but rebid to be up for the show. BANKROLL tracked the leaders from the inside then made a rail bid into the stretch and hung late. CHARLIE'S TOWN was last away and trailed the field down the backstretch then launched a bid at the three eighths pole but failed to rally. ROYAL UNLIMITED was hustled along to duel for the lead then vied for the lead to the middle of the turn and weakened.
