MY CANDY BIZ rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole and contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, was met at even terms entering the stretch but dug in determinedly to eke out the advantage over the game effort of HAPPY CHAMP, who stalked from the four path on the first turn and gave chase leaving the three eighths, contested at a close disadvantage two deep on the far turn, moved to even terms into the lane and stayed on gamely to the finish. LADDIE LIAM rated close inside on the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the four path and got up for third mid-stretch. EXCALIBUR saved ground on the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole and raced off the rail on the far turn, angled out looking for room through the upper stretch and finished evenly. LOST IN MANHATTAN settled off the rail on the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path, left the turn outside and flattened later yards. FORT FORTITUDE rounded the first turn about the four path, started a bid approaching the three eighths pole, raced two deep on the far turn and weakened in the lane. KING NATE raced well back off the rail on the first turn, rounded the far turn about the seven path and passed rivals. TOP HAT TREASON rounded the first turn about the four path, left the turn outside and showed little response. CLOSE THE CASE had a brief early lead then stalked on the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and weakened. BEYOND THE VICTORY stalked the pace from the three path the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but gave way passing the three eighths and was eased.
