Chart notes
THIRSTY TIGER lagged early while racing outside, rallied on the turn, veered in near the eighth pole and inched clear late. LEFT THE BAR sprinted clear to set the pace, responded when challenged to duel, yielded late and held for place. JOHN'S KID shifted out on the turn, challenged for the lead in the upper stretch, was impeded near the eighth pole, fell back, continued in a game effort and earned show. DISRUPTOR MAN saved ground to the turn, lacked a bid and was outrun. Following a stewards' inquiry, THIRSTY TIGER was disqualified and placed third for causing interference near the eighth pole. Hand timed.
