Chart notes
GRANADA FLAVOR was off a bit slow in the beginning, settled along the rail, went between foes then two wide on the far turn, drew alongside the leader with a furlong remaining and drove clear while drifting out some. SETTECENTO broke a step slow and brushed with inner rival, chased four then three deep while brushing with inner rival around the turn, moved into the two path entering the far turn, angled out while on the move and came four wide into the lane, finished determinedly down the stretch and gained the place. MONGOLIAN FORD showed early speed three wide then chased two wide leaving the first turn, was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, bid outside the leader with three furlongs left to run, took over and cleared at the five-sixteenths pole, drifted from left handed urging and was challenged at the eighth pole, lost command in midstretch and was outfinished for the place honors. WARRENS CANDY MAN was off slow in the beginning, settled in the two path outside a rival, took closer order in the middle stages, chased three wide into the drive and weakened. TEMBO tossed his head leaving the gate and dropped back to last, tucked inside on the first turn, moved out on the backstretch, angled five wide on the turn and failed to menace. PAPALE brushed leaving the gate, chased three deep into the first turn then got put in tight around the bend, raced along the inside then two wide on the far turn and weakened. STORMY SAMURAI bobbled leaving the gate, went up to duel two wide into the first turn, cleared around the bend and moved inside, showed the way up the backstretch, was overtaken around the far turn and tired in the stretch.
