Chart notes
HOLLAND raced off the early going, was four wide near the eighth pole, angled in and surged clear under strong pressure. BIG EVENT pressed from the outside, had a clear lead near the eighth pole and kept on gamely to the wire. OPEN ROAD settled off the early pace, moved up near the inside around the far turn through the stretch run and closed in gamely late. SLY was unhurried early on, made a six wide bid into the upper stretch and flattened out. K P AIM HIGH raced mid pack early on, was four to five wide around the far turn and had no late rally. GREY STORM stalked the pace, moved up three wide near the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. NORTHVALE ROAD was forwardly placed to lay up close early, was five deep near the eighth pole and weakened. BAYTOWN MACCA dropped back early, raced four wide and had no response. WEDDING GROOM showed good early foot from the inside and tired readily.
