Chart notes
JEMEZ FALLS , caught in tight quarters leaving the starting gate, circled horses on the turn, swung to the five path entering the stretch, closed outside horses, swept to command in deep stretch and drove clear. LUNARCHY saved ground on the turn chasing the pace, gained the lead along the rail in upper stretch and gave way grudgingly. YOU'RE A DANDY , three deep leaving the backstretch, advanced leaving the turn and weakened in the drive. GYURZA , a forward factor between horses leaving the backstretch, swung to the four path turning for home and weakened. STRONGENOUGHSTORM hugged the inner rail around the turn and in upper stretch and failed to be a factor. HOLD HER HOSTAGE , three wide on the turn, was not a factor. SHORT STRAW bore in leaving the starting gate, sped to the early lead, was well off the rail entering the stretch and gave way.
