LUCKY ONE stalked two deep, challenged nearing the five sixteenths pole and took the nod two deep approaching the quarter, contested the edge through the far turn and dug in determinedly to inch away from ZIGGY STARDUST late yards. The latter took the lead at the thirteen sixteenths pole and rated the pace, came under pressure approaching the five sixteenths pole, was met at the rail nearing the quarter, contested near even terms through the turn and dueled gamely to deep stretch before grudgingly yielding. REVEREND JACK rated close toward the inside, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and finished well while gaining on the top two. LIEUTENANT BROWN settled off the rail on the first turn, eased out leaving the turn and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn four wide then flattened in the lane. COMEONTURNMELOOSE settled off the rail on the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. CALLISTO'S BRIGADE rounded the opening turn in the two and three paths, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. I SEE NOTHING was not a factor. SENZA STRIKE stalked the early pace from the three path then faded through the backstretch. The Stewards reviewed then dismissed a claim of foul against the rider of Lucky One for alleged interference on the far turn, lodged by the rider of Ziggy Stardust.
