Chart notes
MONKEY WRENCH raced with the pace inside, dueled from the three eighths pole and contested even terms at the rail on the far turn, drew clear past the eighth pole and held on well under steady encouragement. UNCLE PRESS rounded the first turn in the five path and moved to even terms three wide into the backstretch, dueled from the three eighths pole, contested the far turn at even terms and dug in through the stretch to hold second. FRANK THE BULL raced with the pace between horses and dueled from the three eighths pole, dropped back off the rail on the far turn, came again in the lane but missed the nod for second. COLONIAL ROAD saved ground off the pace, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced close in the three and four paths on the far turn then flattened later yards. BAND TOUR stalked from the four path on the first turn, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn four wide then flattened in the lane. CRISTIANO BOY saved ground off the pace on the first turn, gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and showed little further. CURB THAT TIGER rounded the first turn in the four and five paths, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the five and six paths of the far turn then weakened. JUBAY rounded the first turn about the three path, left the turn outside, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four and five paths of the far turn and weakened. TOTHETRAINSTATION rounded the first turn in the four path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but faded in the four path of the far turn. HARDIN was not a factor.
