Chart notes
BERNIE'S ON FIRE stalked off the rail on the first turn, eased out and bid nearing the quarter pole, took the lead three wide midway on the far turn and held on under steady encouragement. ELVIRUS broke in the air then saved ground, bid leaving the three eighths pole and steadily improved from that point, rounded the far turn about the five path, dug in to clear second later yards and was gaining on the winner. JAMMIN STILL raced off the rail and between horses on the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced in the four path of the far turn and got up for third later yards. REY O REYES stalked from the three path, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole and challenged nearing the five sixteenths pole, dueled to a brief slim lead past the quarter pole but was met midway on the far turn and flattened inside the sixteenth pole. HEARTNESS settled off the rail on the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, entered the far turn near the rail, eased out nearing the head of the lane and flattened stride. ONE MORE FACTOR took over past the three quarter pole and moved to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure nearing the five sixteenths pole, was met past the quarter and remained close at the rail on the far turn but weakened the final sixteenth. PRACTICALLY THERE saved ground, bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and could only improve position. TWEET THIS rounded the first turn in the four path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. MAKE WAY raced well off the pace about the three path on the fi9rst turn and showed little response. MAKE THE WAY CLEAR rounded the first turn about the four path and was through early.
