Chart notes
MISS GRAND SLAM was on the pace inside rivals while out from the rail, kicked clear into the final turn and drew off then held safe under mild urging in the lane. SMILIN JOSIE settled well off the early pace three wide, rallied through the final turn and closed mildly in the lane to clearly best the others. HAPPY QUEST saved ground and moved up through the final turn, continued on the gain the show while no threat. FIRST RATE ROMANCE moved outside to track the lead pair four wide leaving the first turn, continued to late backstretch and weakened. CHARACTER COUNTS was with the early pace between rivals and tired. CLASSICALLY WICKED saved ground and tired.
