Chart notes
DROPKICK QUEEN rated close inside on the first turn, started a bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn, dug in for the lead past the sixteenth pole and edged clear later yards. KATALIMA settled off the pace toward the inside, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and dug in through the stretch to take second the final strides. ARROWWOOD rated close from the three path on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, took the lead past the five sixteenths, dueled clear midway on the far turn but was caught inside the sixteenth pole and flattened stride later yards. TIZBIT raced well off the pace in the two and three paths, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path, eased outside leaving the turn and showed little more. MOIRAINE angled in and took over nearing the three quarter pole and lost a shoe in the process, rated the pace inside, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, was met past the five sixteenths and dropped back at the rail midway on the far turn. BOCA BIRDIE saved ground well off the pace and showed little response through the backstretch. TAPPING SOUTH raced well off the pace and off the rail on the first turn and never factored. HOVEL rounded the opening turn about the four path and never factored. SUPERSTASIA raced in the four path the first turn, gave chase leaving the half mile pole but faded through the backstretch. This race was hand timed.
