Chart notes
BIG ROJO hopped at the start, then raced behind the field down the backstretch, was moving up to split rivals on the turn then surged along the rail down the home stretch and was up in time to prove best. FRA MAURO dueled from the inside, then pulled away heading into the turn to lead the way in the upper stretch, continued to rally gamely down the lane but was caught in the end and was second best. FOREVAMO bid between rivals down the backstretch, then rallied gamely throughout the turn and into the stretch to close willingly in the end. LOUIS LE GRANDE bid while four wide down the backstretch, then came out five wide on the turn to rally in the stretch and was closing well in the end. HECOULDGOALLTHEWAY bid between rivals down the backstretch, then rallied from the four path in the upper stretch to close well in the end. RESOLVE NOW chased the pace along the inside, bid mildly throughout the turn then continued to race even throughout the stretch. KENTUCKY PEERLESS bid while five wide then rallied in the stretch and was no threat. HOLY EMPEROR chased the pace while six wide, then dropped back and was no menace. EYES ON RED was in a hard drive to duel for the lead while two wide into the turn, was used up and weakened.
