UPPER LEVEL was hustled from the gate, dueled on the inside of a foe but with a path separation between them, vied in the two path on the turn, gained the advantage inside the three-sixteenths, shook clear inside the furlong marker and held under steady urging. CLASH A. J. dropped back then settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, went four wide around the turn, was driven five wide into the stretch, gained outside in the final furlong and finished willingly for the place. BASIS RISK was hustled from the start then ridden along off the pace, went three then two wide on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response while along for the show. EIGHT AND SAND was hustled from the start, dueled on the outside then in the four path around the turn, led under a drive past the three-sixteenths then was headed by the winner, vied outside that foe into the final furlong and weakened then lost the show. RAW COURAGE moved out near the five-eighths then was urged along on the outside, went five wide around the turn and failed to threaten.
