Chart notes
LYRICAL chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn, gained ground in the lane and dueled to the wire to just hold the win. CELESTIAL ORB trailed the field through the opening quarter of a mile, switched out to the five path to began a bid approaching the quarter pole, lugged in in upper stretch and gained ground to the finish to narrowly miss. MOON ME AGAIN tracked the pace setter on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend, dueled in the lane, was caught in the final sixteenth of a mile and kept on from there. TAKESTWOTOWIGGLE led the way through the early going, dueled from the two path around the turn, dug in entering the stretch and weakened in the final strides. JLO CAN DANCE raced off the pace up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the three path and showed no kick. BAYOU MELODY stalked the pacesetter on the outside through the opening stages, raced in the four path around the turn and faded in the stretch.
