Chart notes
SIR ROBERT HALL veered out at the break, straightened out to chase the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the two path coming around the turn, kicked clear entering the stretch and drew off from there. MOTIVO trailed the field through the early going, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and gained ground late. SOPHIA'S PRINCE raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and chased on in the stretch. BOLD ADVANCE raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, moved up from the two path coming around the turn and was outkicked in the lane. THE GREAT CESAR lugged in a few strides out of the gate, raced off the pace from there, navigated the turn from the three path and never threatened. CITY HUMOR led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the two path around the bend and tired in the stretch. VALDOSTA bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, raced in the middle of the pack between horses up the backstretch, dropped back while saving ground around the turn and continued to fade from there. KING SHARK veered in and bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, raced at the back of the pack early, came around the turn in the two path and was empty in the lane.
