Chart notes
OUT OF PROMISES was unhurried while along the inside through the turn, guided into the four path approaching the eighth pole then finished with good energy to be clear late. HEAVEN AND EARTH vied for the lead three wide through the turn and into the lane, shook clear into the lane, remained clear with an eighth to go then could not hold the winner safe. PAT'S PALACE raced in the three path through the turn when never far back, continued in the five path for the drive and finished evenly. HURRICANE LASSIE vied for the lead along the inside through the turn and into the lane then weakened along the rail. NO JOKING MATTER vied for the lead through the turn while in between rivals then weakened through the stretch. TEAKETTLE was never a factor while in the three path through the turn. SPOTTY SHOWERS was close early then steadily faded while off the inside. GIRL IN THE CITY vied for the early lead while near the inside, settled off into the turn then was empty entering the lane.
