Chart notes
B W P SPIRIT prompt the pace from the outside of foes, raced five wide near the half mile pole, moved up to challenge three deep past the quarter pole and drew off late to be clear under strong handling. BILOXI chased the early pace while racing three wide between early and kept on to the wire to finish second best. HARD CANDY chased between, was five wide into the upper stretch and had not enough for the top pair. WOOD RIVER was off slowly, raced at the back of the pack early on, raced from the outside in the stretch run and moved up to improve position. FLASHY BOY vied for the early lead along the rail and faltered in the drivd. THROWIN' SHADE chased the pace between rivals four to five deep and tired. BIG ACE vied for the early lead and tired readily.
