Chart notes
ALBIZU outrun early, asked along midway on the turn along the inside, lodged a rail bid entering the stretch, drove clear. VULCAN away well, prompted the leader three wide into and through the turn, bid, briefly raced on equal terms with the winner past the furlong marker then proved no match, held sway for the place. MAJOR GENERAL broke back, trailed early, saved some ground early turn, came in the two path for the drive, finished willingly to be gaining on the runne rup. CAIRAMA raced back off the pace and the inside, three wide through most of the turn, drifted through the stretch under firm handling, finished up evenly. DEFLATER off a step slow, moved out, four wide through most of the turn, improved slightly through the lane without making an impact. WHELEN SPRINGS forwardly placed, checked up in tight quarters entering the turn, fell back and did not recover. FORE LEFT broke alertly, cleared early, showed the way into the turn in the two path, gave way when headed into the stretch. NATE'S WAY finished early, trailed home.
