Chart notes
THE MAN CAN made the lead soon after the start, set all the pace and drew clear through the stretch under right handed urging. HENRY THE CAT pressured the winner two wide and gamely gained second. JUST CHESTER had speed from the start, offered a mild bid along the rail into the stretch then was outfinished. BUCKEYE RUCKUS went evenly. OFTEN ENOUGH failed to menace. JOES A ROCKIN pressed the early pace three wide and faded. MOBIL AT LAST with the second flight four then three wide, failed to respond. CAPTAIN RILEY closed up early, had no rally. PRECIOUS JULES bobbled at the start and was no factor. PLATE IT UP was no threat.
