Chart notes
DOUBLE BARREL MAN outrun early off the inside, raced three wide through the turn, steered out when straightened for home, late surge to be up in time. MUCHO MARVIN in the second flight early off the inside, raced four wide into the lane, challenged on the outside nearing midstretch, took over, caught late. MINISTER'S MEDAL forwardly placed up the backstretch inside, continued to save ground turn, lodged a rail bid into the stretch, vied past the furlong marker, proved no match for the top two late. MAD GOLD broke back and outward, was straightened to race off the pace well out in the stretch, five to six wide through the turn, displayed some mild late interest to improve position a bit. QUEST FOR AVETTE broke on top, set or forced the pace for a half while off the inside, weakened the final furlong. LOVEU AND PROUDOFU lacked speed in the two path, failed to menace. B B MOODY in the second flight while racing in the three path, had little for the drive. TOOL BOX set or forced the pace for three furlongs just off the inside, caved in turning for home.
