Chart notes
HACKER vied inside of MO CHOCTOW for the lead in opening stages, battled on into the lane, dug in gamely, took the edge and held on. MO CHOCTAW dueled outside of HACKER for the lead in early stages, fought back heads apart into the stretch, continued to put in a good effort but could not match strides in final stages. MONTEREY PENINSULA settled off the early pace, made a four wide bid turning for home, rallied through the stretch and gained to the wire. CALLE DE BOYD raced near midpack, came three wide into the lane and failed to kick on. ROBUST was not too fra bcak in early stages, swung two wide into the lane and failed to make an impact. LURCH raced in the back, saved ground and never threatened. PRAIRIE WOLF raced in early contention along the inside, began to flatten midway around the turn and steadily weakened in the lane.
