Chart notes
BEAUDACIOUS stalked the leaders from between early, rounded the bend two then three wide, came in and bumped the runner-up in upper stretch, bid three deep entering the final furlong and edged away late. FRANKLIN ONE STAR showed early speed then jumped crossing onto the dirt to lose ground, chased the speed inside a pair of rivals, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, got bumped by BEAUDACIOUS in upper stretch, challenged between runners in the final furlong and got outkicked by the winner. NEW YORK DREAMS (GB) pressed the pace from outside, inched ahead approaching the quarter pole, put away inner rival entering the stretch, pressured by a pair of runners in the furlong grounds, yielded in the final sixteenth and saved the show. ECHO CANYON was off slow to begin, trailed early, traveled along the inside then tipped out into the stretch and summoned a mild rally. AMERICAN CAT set the pace inside NEW YORK DREAMS (GB) up the backstretch, lost command nearing the quarter pole and weakened down the lane. DIVINE RASCAL tossed his head at the start to come away slow, chased three deep into the turn, started to weaken three wide leaving the turn and faded in the lane.
