Chart notes
GRAND SLAM SMILE showed good early speed and contested the lead into the turn, set a pressured pace to the quarter marker, shook free in upper stretch, drew to a clear lead while in hand nearing the furlong marker and drew off in the final stages as much the best. BLEVYS TIGER lacked early speed, saved ground to the top of the lane, found her best stride late and rallied in the final sixteenth to secure the place. LUSMA prominent in the early running, pressed the solid early pace while outside of GRAND SLAM SMILE, could not keep pace with that foe into the drive, weakened in the final furlong but held well at the finish to save third. CORAL CAT raced in tight into the turn and steadied at the three-furlong marker, chased the decent pace from the rail into upper stretch, improved position inside of the furlong pole, was outkicked in deep stretch and just missed for third. DRUM BUNNY forwardly placed into the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker, was steered two wide into the stretch and could not muster a late response. CLEAR THE COAST lacked early speed, swung widest into the stretch, offered a mild late bid but did not threaten in the late stages. DADS DREAM chased the decent early pace, raced two wide to the quarter marker, was coaxed three wide into the stretch and tired in the drive. LUCCA'S LEGACY broke in at the start and was off slowly, saved ground along the turn and did not factor.
