TRAPALIS tracked the contested early pace while racing three wide in the run down the backstretch, launched his bid three wide entering the final turn, swept to the lead entering the lane, and quickly drew clear under confident handling. ROLLIE'S SPIRIT broke sharply and dueled for the lead while racing two wide from between rivals entering the first turn, continued to force the issue two wide in the run down the backside and into the final turn, was overtaken entering the lane, but battled gamely from along the inside in the drive to hold the place. BARNEY GOOGLE settled at the back of the pack while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, commenced his bid four wide entering the final turn, and found his best stride late while finishing three wide in deep stretch to get up for a share. GROOVY GIRL away well and pressed the pace three wide entering the first turn, rallied two out from the rail entering the final turn, but was outfinished in the late stages. GWEN away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from the inside of two other rivals in the run down the backstretch, struggled to keep up entering the final turn, and faded over the final furlong. ATOMIC HAZE settled off the early pace while saving ground at the rail entering the backstretch, rallied three wide entering the final turn, steadied briefly when losing his path entering the lane, and failed to mount a late bid when called upon.
