Chart notes
EMPEROR'S CAUSE raced in closest pursuit of the pacesetter, vied through the final turn and edged clear. CAPE HEDGE settled off the pace outside, dueled through the final turn but was outfinished. I SAW IT ALL sprinted clear for half a mile and drifted out tiring in the stretch. HE'SSOSUBTLE settled off the pace inside and lacked a solid rally. DON'T RECALL dropped back along the rail and was never in contention. COMMISSIONER DAVE lagged far behind and trailed throughout.
