Chart notes
DOUGIE D ORO bobbled out of the gate in front, was allowed to settle, chased a rapid pace in the four path into the turn, drifted to the six path while making the lead entering the stretch, was righted, quickly drew clear when put to a left handed whip and drew off under confident handling. MORESTRIDE never far back, improved position three wide on the turn, dug in late in the six path and finished second best. HIP HIP HOORAY never far back, finished with good courage two wide. LIBERATE was hustled to the lead soon after the start, set a fast along the inside pace for a half then was outfinished. DUKE OF DARKNESS chased the pace from the three path, swung wide entering the stretch and was weakened. ALTISSIMO trailed.
