Chart notes
SURE SHOT SHELLY pressed the pace, challenged for the lead on the turn, assumed command, drew clear and held safely. STOLEN KISSES ducked in at the gap, rallied between horses into the turn, bid, hung late and finished second best. JUST ROSIE broke out, was allowed to settle and raced in the back while saving ground, angled out on the turn, bid six wide and closed well to earn show. LOVELY LOLITA stalked the pace along the inside, got through along the rail on the turn, bid and came up empty. SMART OKIE was never far back, raced outside, went five wide at the top of the stretch and lacked a bid. BECAUSE set the pace to the turn, fell back, weakened and faded through the stretch.
