Chart notes
VASSAR'S BOY well placed and outside, angled in through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out for clear racing room, then made a steady gain and edged ahead in the final strides. CAN I GET AN AMEN sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, increased his margin through the turn, held command to the final sixteenth and was outfinished. ASPLUNDER never far back, held position on the two path through the turn, bid three wide into the stretch and flattened. MAGIC BOMB unhurried, moved up two and three wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch, closed willingly and edged up for a share. SLIPPERY WHEN WET mid pack, held position three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. RAPA NUI passed a tiring rival. DONTINVADEMYSPACE rated close up and inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside and had no stretch rally.
