Chart notes
STRANGE ARRANGE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held sway without challenge, then drew off late and was kept to the task. DANEFIELD broke in at the start bumping a rival, moved up quickly to be well placed between rivals, held position on the two path through the turn, angled in and came through inside into the stretch, made a steady gain and lacked the needed late kick. SMOKY BLUES bumped at the start, was unhurried, moved up on the two path through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch and evened late. HARD COUNT stalked the pace on the outside, held position three wide through the turn, angled inside a drifting leader into the stretch, then weakened late and held a share. SUMMERFEST allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and improved position. TOMMY THE TORCH passed tiring foes, widest. BEAR CREEK tracked the pace, moved up inside through the turn, then steadied slightly into the stretch and faded.
