Chart notes
QUEEN WIGGY broke in, exchanging bumps at the start, tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angled out to bid outside the leader into the stretch, shook clear, drifted in and held. HIGH DOLLAR DATE mid pack, moved up inside through the turn, steadied for racing room mid way of the turn, then angled out into the stretch, made a steady gain and closed the gap on the winner late. ALATION well placed and inside, held position through the turn, angled four wide into the stretch and had a mild late gain. TURBIE allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch, angled out and closed for a share. VACCINA broke out, exchanging bumps at the start, moved up quickly to be well placed outside, gained position three wide through the turn, then faded into the stretch. PROTECTTHEWITNESS passed tiring rivals. STRAIGHT MADNESS was never involved. JUSTICE OR APPEAL sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then faded the final furlong.
