THE NEW MIAMI Hopped at the start, in hand along the four path early, three path into the turn, four wide leaving it, quickly found the front with a furlong to go and proved best. KATERI EMPIRE Tracked along the two path, took the rail into the lane and finished well to secure the place. SUBSIDIARY Well placed along the two path into the bend, three path out of it, lodged a bid outside and finished with interest. GIRL OF TOSCONOVA Broke sluggishly, saved ground on the turn and then finished wide. SARATOGA BEAUTY Away on top, set the pace along the rail, was collared and weakened. SMART BROAD Saved ground, appeared to be bearing in at the seven-sixteenths pole, took up and then failed to take part.
