Chart notes
GEAUX SUGAR pushed in at the break to bump MOURVEDRE, was straightened, took over into the turn off the inside, shook clear when straightened for home, enough left to hold off the runner up late. MOURVEDRE in tight at bumped at the break, lacked speed, came five wide for the drive, set down, late surge to finish willingly while too late. KIT KAT KIDD settled in the second flight early in the two path, steered out into lane, along for the show, not a serious threat to the top two. CUSTOM PRAYER broke in, was straightened to race within striking distance, lacked the needed closing response. A'DEBRIS pressed the issue from the three path, had little for the drive. D T'S DREAM lacked speed, came four wide and inside the winner exiting the turn, failed to muster a rally.
