Chart notes
AMBOR NIGHT rated in the two path, was roused while tipping out to the five path around the far turn, took aim from the six path into the stretch, drew past an inner foe passing the eighth pole, and was driven clear. ADMIRAL'S WAVE brushed with an outer foe into the first turn, stalked in the three path down the backstretch, ranged up under coaxing from the four path around the far turn, took the lead from the five path at the top of the lane, but was caught by an outer foe passing the eighth pole, and held place. FOR THE CHIEF was unhurried in the three path, driven along while fanning out around the far turn and in the seven path at the top of the stretch, and kept on for show. MEDIA SENSATION brushed with an inner foe into the first turn, chased in the four path down the backside, shifted to the rail and was under right handed urging early around the far turn, tipped out to the two path into the lane, was carried outwards and bumped an outer foe passing the eighth pole, and evened out. RACKET vied for the lead in the three path down the backside, was ridden around the far turn, lost ground from the four path into the stretch got bumped by an inner foe passing the eighth pole, and faded. WALT WHITMAN (IRE) set the pace along the inside, was cued right handed into the lane, but drifted out while yielding approaching the eighth pole. O GANGSTER raced off the pace in the five path but was no menace. RIVERBOAT RICHIE tracked in the four path but gaveway early around the far turn.
