Chart notes
JAMMIN STILL rounded the opening turn about the three path and settled close, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole and dueled at mostly even terms, drew clear midway on the far turn and held on under steady encouragement. DUSTWHIRL WONDER settled back off the rail, started a bid approaching the three eighths pole, raced at the rail into the turn but angled to the five path nearing the head of the lane, finished well to take second the final strides and just missed the win. CHESAPEAKE CHARLIE saved ground off the pace, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole and raced in the three path on the far turn, was outfinished in the duel through the stretch then nipped from second the final strides. MY CANDY BIZ stalked toward the inside, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced two deep on the far turn and flattened inside the eighth pole. REY O REYES stalked the early pace from the three path, closed to the lead leaving the seven sixteenths pole and dueled Jammin Still from that point, but dropped back at the rail midway on the far turn and flattened stride mid-stretch. GOT FLOFFY rated the pace inside, was met past the seven sixteenths pole and gave chase from that point, but dropped back toward the quarter pole and weakened at the rail on the far turn. MAKE WAY rounded the first turn in the four path, gave chase into the backstretch but showed little response.
