Chart notes
SONO broke sharp and smartly took back a bit and rated, was asked at the quarter pole and drew off with a nice turn of foot and was the easy winner. HOOSIER was off a bit slow and settled well off the pace, started to gain ground and closed after the half mile pole, was in full stride by the sixteenth pole and was up for second. CALICOCO raced mid pack, patiently waited, then closed well. KING OF CONTRABAND was off a tough and slow and made a mild bid late. PITCH AND RUN was never a factor. REVERENT showed little. DIAL UNCLE JOEY was never involved. RISKTAKER off slow, mild gain. LOUISIANA FLASH was forwardly placed, but tired. SON CARLOS vied, led, then stoppe.
