Chart notes
COWCHI prompted the pace two wide for six furlongs, gained a narrow advantage, drifted out to the six path in deep stretch and proved best under strong handling. LUCKY PENNY ROSE allowed to settle, offered a strong bid three wide on the far turn and finished second best. NOT A WILD BRAT broke outward bumping MOBIL MEISTER at the start, set the pace along the inside for six furlongs, matched strides until deep stretch then was outfinished. CITY SIGNS vied for the lead along the inside, shifted out to the five path entering the stretch then went evenly. BEST OF YOU was through after a half. MOBIL MEISTER was bumped, stumbled and unseated her rider at the start. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
