Chart notes
FLECHE D'AMOUR stalked the early pace three wide, move up to prompt the pace from the outside, made a three wide move nearing the five sixteenths and drew out and dropped to the inside, then remained clear by the furlong marker and held sway late to prove best under a drive. BO RUNKLE was four wide into the first turn, rated and dropped down to be two wide, shifted on the far turn and made a three wide move on the turn to chase the winner, then was gaining late but could not get to the winner, second best. CHARLYS WILD ANGEL tracked the pace along the inside, then was shuffled back on the turn, shifted out and advanced three wide by the quarter pole, ran on willingly to best the rest. SIMPLE JUSTICE was reserved early on the inside, advanced on the turn and angled out in the lane and had a belated rally for the minor rewards. BUSTIN WIDE OPEN prompted the early pace two wide, then was between rivals by the half mile marker and tired in the lane. BACKSTRETCHBEAUTY failed to menace. FUELED UP set the pace on the inside and gave way. SKIPOVER was reserved early and not a factor.
