Chart notes
NOTACATBUTACARD rated inside, raced boxed through the second turn, waited, got through inside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain, edged ahead and held. GAGE HAS A GRAY well placed and outside, gained position three wide through the turn, bid four wide outside the leader into the stretch, then lacked the needed late kick. JARETH unhurried, raced boxed through the second turn on the two path, came through on that path into the stretch, angled four wide for racing room and closed for the show. CAPTAIN MAD JACK stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid three wide outside the leader into the stretch, then flattened and held a share. WAPITI WAY allowed to settle, moved up three and four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch and passed tiring rivals. OLDZFOURFORTYTWO ran evenly. BIG CHICKEN MAN set the pace just off the rail, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then faded the final furlong.
