Chart notes
KOBE'S CAUSE set a pressured pace up the backstretch, held a slim lead then took on the challenge of GOLD TAPPER mid-way around the turn, dueled into the lane, dug in gamely along the rail and nipped tenacious foes in final stride. GOLD TAPPER settled in the opening quarter then circled up to challenge for the lead mid-way around the turn, dueled outside of KOBE'S CAUSE into the lane, fought on gamely and got nipped in closing stride. MADETHEDEAN'SLIST broke out and bumped with rivals at the start, rated along the inside in early stages, saved ground then angled out leaving the turn, kicked in gear at the head of the lane, rallied determinedly three wide and just missed. FRANKLYGREAT took a solid bump at the start, lacked speed and raced in the back, swung four wide into the lane and had a mild improve. TEMPLE CITY RUN broke in at the start and raced in early contention, tracked up close leaving the backstretch, angled in a path approaching the mid-way point on the turn causing TAP ON BY and STROLLINTOTHEMARKET to check sharply and dropped back, stayed on briefly then weakened in the lane. MACH SWEDE bumped with rival at the start, raced off the pace, swung five wide into the lane and lacked a rally. ESPE'S GUY showed response in early stages then began to falter around the turn. TAP ON BY was forwardly placed in the opening quarter and continued in close contention leaving the backstretch, was forced to check sharply when TEMPLE CITY RUN came in a path near the mid-way point on the turn, lost all momentum and quickly dropped back. STROLLNTOTHEMARKET was forwardly placed in opening stages, continued in close range entering the turn, got squeezed out of position nearing the mid-way point on the turn, checked sharply, lost all momentum and quickly dropped back. ANDY WORHOSS raced in or near the back, was injured near the sixteenth pole and vanned off. AFTER A STEWARDS INQUIRY TEMPLE CITY RUN WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIFTH AND PLACED LAST FOR ANGLING IN CAUSING TAP ON BY AND STROLLNTOTHE MARKET TO CHECK SHARPLY APPROACHING THE MID-WAY POINT ON THE TURN
