Chart notes
BIG EVEREST (GB) set the pace on the inside, rated comfortably leaving the clubhouse turn, showed the way on his own passing the quarter pole, responded when asked, finished willingly in the final furlong and was kept safe. SMOKIN' T tracked close up along the inside, chased on the far turn, angled out for the stretch drive, finished well in the lane but second best. JAMES ALOYSIUS pulled a bit in the early stages, stalked close up two wide, chased on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and finished evenly to earn the show award. SKY'S NOT FALLING raced two wide off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and failed to threaten. PUBLIC SECTOR (GB) raced two wide off the pace, chased the leaders on the far turn, raced inside in the stretch and had no rally. SIR SAFFER raced off the pace with an inside trip and did not factor. MANOR HOUSE raced three wide early, settled off the rail, off the pace and gave way on the far turn.
